On December 12, 2025, the Mexican Consulate in Phoenix is celebrating 200 Years of Diplomatic Relations Between Mexico and the United States, with the opening of In Orrdinary Light, a body of work created by Ana Santiago, capturing the indomitable beauty and spirit of everyday life in Mexico.

These works celebrate the everyday beauty found in overlooked corners and plazuelas. From the blinding blues of Oaxaca, the sacred steps of the Guadalupe church, the thrill of a night out in Mexico City, or the electric pulse of a bustling mercado, this collection invites you to step into a world where every detail is timeless and alive.

Commissioned to launch the store’s gallery program at it's Scottsdale location, Eternal Bloom comprised ten mixed-media works at 40 x 60" and a 16 × 18-foot mural delivered within a two-month production schedule.
The exhibition increased foot traffic by 27% and generated the highest sales night of the season during a private VIP shopping event coninciding with the opening.

MURALS & INTERIORS

Ana Santiago

Ana Santiago is a contemporary mixed-media artist known for large-scale works that draw from her Hispanic heritage and modern urban influence. Working in acrylic, spray paint, and ink, she creates pieces rooted in memory, place, and architectural presence.

A graduate of the University of Arizona and Concordia University, Ana exhibited in New York’s Tribeca and Chelsea galleries in the 1990s, including solo shows at Gary Bollins, The Knitting Factory, and The Art Bar. Her recent exhibition, "Eternal Bloom", was presented at Saks Fifth Avenue, Scottsdale.

Her work is held in private and corporate collections and is commissioned for residential and commercial developments where scale and substance matter.
